Electric strikes
Electric strikes are probably the most common product used in doorsthat have an electric locking mechanism. Electric strikes provide a goodlocking solution typically for doors that are used very frequently. Durabilityand quick operation are preferred over security. Electric strikes are alsoa good choice for doors that are situated in a tough environment.
Our electric strikes are well known for high quality, fast release anddurability and are available in three different grades:
Heavy dutyThe heavy duty strike is the most powerful strike in the range and shouldbe used in applications where high security and resistance to vandalismis most important.
Standard/Universal dutyThe standard/universal strike is an ideal solution in many doors wherereliability is a major consideration but where high security strikes are notrequired.
SimpleThe use of a simple strike is mainly to protect areas inside a buildingagainst unauthorised access and where the perimeter protection iscovered by other products.
FUNCTIONSFail lockedThis function means that the electric strike will be locked only as long asthe power is off. In case of a power failure, the strike will remain locked. The strike will open as soon as it receives power.
Fail unlockedThis function means that the electric strike will be locked only as long asthe power is on. In case of a power failure, the strike will open. The strikewill lock as soon as it receives power. This function is typically used inemergency exit doors.
Day lockingThe most important attribute for a day lock is quick opening and gooddurability rather than high security. Typically an electric strike or a solenoidlock is used as a day lock as both products provide durable solutions fordoors with high frequent usage.
Night lockingA night lock is typically a motor lock rather than an electric strike or asolenoid lock. The motor lock has a much higher security level comparedto electric strikes and solenoid locks the dead bolt function. It may beremote controlled, thus providing a automatic night-time locking.

Solid ANSI – Face plates
Electric strike together with longfaceplate (174.5 mm) and shortfaceplate (123.7 mm) includingmounting clip illustrated.Extension lips are shownseparately.
ApplicationThe ANSI mounting kit makes the standard SOLID electric strikesfit with American, Canadian, British, Australian and Far East typesof locks (with up to 1/2” or 12 mm latch depth). These electric strikes are suitable for use on fire resistant doors(according to Swedish standards) in entrances for high riseresidential accommodation and inside in multiple occupancy officebuildings. It also fits where the electronic access control systemneeds to be supplemented by a mechanical deadlocking function. This would give increased physical security whilst restricting accessto keyholders - typical applications might include offices wheredaytime and nighttime security requirements differ.
Features
• Faceplate is manufactured from high grade steel.• Used in combination with Universal and Standard Duty electric
strikes.• Used together with double latch bolt locks.• Available in two versions, ANSI Long or ANSI Short• The standard ANSI lip measures 26.5 mm from the centre of
the electric strike to the edge of the lip and makes the doorclose flush with the frame. Where door/frame relationship isdifferent, one or more strike lip adapters may be added. Eachlip adapter are 25.4 mm.

Solenoid locks have a wide area of application and are suitable for doorswhere both reliability and security are major considerations. Solenoidlocks offers a remote-controlled daytime locking that can be combinedwith a high level of security through a mechanical dead-bolt.
The solenoid lock may be integrated with a complete access controlsystems or work as a stand alone unit together with for example codelocks.
Our solenoid locks are well known for high quality, security and durability.
FUNCTIONS
Fail lockedThis function means that the solenoid lock will be locked only as long asthe power is off. In case of a power failure, the lock will remain locked. The lock will open as soon as it receives power.

Motor lock.• Offers unique possibilities to connect and read a day lock
function in combination with a night lock function.
Function
• Suitable for connection to voltage free contacts from a switchor control system. These provide either simple unlocking or anoverride function. With this, the lock remains unlocked afterthe first authorised opening signal, until the function is turnedoff.
• The position of the bolt and door is monitored, and alarms willactivate if the motor lock is prevented from opening properly.
• The bolt will automatically re-lock if the door is not openedwithin a specified time.
• If the bolt is blocked for any reason, the system will repeatedlyattempt to throw it again. This is done at 5-seconds interval toprevent the motor burning out.

Magnets and accessories
MagnetsDoor magnets may be used in doors where safety and quick exit are ofimportance and should be combined with a certain degree of security.Door magnets are typically a good alternative to an electric strike. Doormagnets are also a good choice for doors that are situated in a toughenvironment. One advantage with a door magnet compared to another locking solutionis that it has no movable mechanical parts that can cause mechanicalmalfunction. At the same time, the strong magnetic force is effective inholding the door locked.
Typically, the door magnet should be connected to a fire alarm and/or aseparate emergency opening button.

DOOR HOLDER MAGNETS
FunctionMagnum door-holder magnets are primarily designed to keepdoors shut in emergency exit routes.
Suitable places can be emergency exit doors in factories, sportshalls, department stores, high frequency use doors and doorswhere other electrical locking is not possible.
The magnets are protected against sabotage, such as lacquer, paint sprays or impact marks on the contact surfaces. If themagnet is not pulling with its full power, this is shown by adiode on the front.
The magnets have no mechanical parts that form obstacles. With their efficient magnetic force they keep the doors “locked”,but are still easily and safely able to be opened in the event ofevacuation (breaking the current circuit).
If the magnets are further connected to a fire alarm andindividual emergency opening buttons, a high emergencyevacuation safety level is achieved.
FeaturesIndication – the magnet indicates by means of a red and greenlight diode when the door is locked/unlocked. The indication isalso given by means of a freely alternating relay for external needs(e.g. manoeuvre panel, gate connections etc.)Anti-residual magnetism – the magnets have built-in electronicsthat eliminate residual magnetism in the event of a loss of power.
