HOW TO ASSESS YOUNG LEARNERS?

•MEASUREMENT SHOULD BE FLEXIBLE AND TO THEIR LEVEL. CEF HAVE YOUNG LEARNERS IN A LEVEL.

•ASSESSMENT TOOLS SHOULD TARGET THE MATERIAL AND THEIR AGE GROUP.

•ASSESSMENT STRATEGIES SHOULD REFLECT WHAT IS GOING TO BE ASSESSED.

•GAMES AND ENJOYABLE TASKS WILL MAKE LEARNING INTERESTING AND THEREFORE MAKE ASSESSMENT AUTHENTIC.

WHAT TO ASSESS OF THE MAIN SKILLS?

•ASSESSMENT SHOULD REFLECT THE LESSON PLAN PREPARED.

•IT DEPENDS OVER WHAT COMPETENCE TO BE DEVELOPED.

•THE LESSON PLAN DESIGN DEVELOPS THE SKILL TO BE ASSESSED.

•ASSESSMENT TOOLS SHOULD MEASURE THE MAIN SKILL.
