Its a Variable and integrated tool for business marketing

• iphone, HTC, Samsung – Get free publicity not only through social media but also through word and mouth. The kind of technology on these phones allows us to connect to the internet worldwide
• This also enables us to be ‘Citizen Journalism’ but the problem of certifying the story raises issues if inaccurate
• Yet it also allows small charities and independent fund raisers

The purpose of this documentary is to inform audiences of the effect social media has in our world and society. And to determine if its for the better or worse

They will learn about technological convergence, web 2.0 among other things that affect and contribute to ‘The role of social media around the world’
3. Connect purpose to audience – why should/do they want to learn about this topic?
This topic is current and relevant to people and in today’s society and this documentary would explain to them and help them understand this topic
4. Who is the audience, target audience, secondary audience? Niche or mass - why?
Parents, Technology geeks, Middle & Upper-Class. This topic effects all of them
Parents; Their kids go on social media and their parents have no idea what they are doing or how to use social media themselves. This would tell parents the dangers and the advantages
Technology geeks; They would already have knowledge on this topic but this could also widen it as it may go in areas they had never known
Middle & Upper-class; Social media is what is used for marketing in all business its free, easy and fast but is this a good thing. This will help them understand what exactly they are using

This is an informative documentary as its just gathered information in order to aid the public in understanding this topic and to come up with their own judgement to decide if its good or bad for us

• Facebook, Twitter, Instagram all allows fans to follow and interact with fans
• Fans groups can be made which in turn creates more buzz and followers
Newspapers & News:
• We are constantly bombarded with celebrity's lives on and off our TV
• Sky news has a section dedicated to gossip
• ‘News of The World’ was shut down for phone hacking celebrity's and innocent friends
• The public loved the scandals we feed off of peoples invasion of privacy

Paparazzi
• With the royal family's summer invasion of privacy was taken to a new level as nude pictures were captured
• The royals issues an investigation and for the paparazzi to keep their distance but the picture was still published in France
• Showing Britain's power can only go so far

They would learn the reasons behind why society loves to know about celebrity's lives and why we are so bombarded by gossip 24/7

Informative in giving reasons and truths behind the reasons why we cant get enough of celerity's.
Persuasive in trying to dishearten people who are so obsessed with celebrity's to re-evaluate why and the things they would be doing other than following (stalking) someone they don't know
