In December, 2014, the Far Eastern University Ins9tute of Nursing (FEU) was visited by Monina FrancoTantuico, Assistant Dean of the Trinitas School of Nursing in New Jersey. She met with the Dean of the Ins9tute of Nursing, Dr. Belinda G. Buenafe. (LeN to right) Priscila Longanilla, former Dean of the College of Nursing of Maka9 Medical Center; Dean Buenafe, who is also the 2014 President of the FEAUNAF, Philippines; and Assistant Dean Monina FrancoTantuico. Prof. Gloria Yang (leN) gave the tour of the FEUIN VINES Laboratory, one of the first and the best in the Philippines. The VINES Laboratory was established in 2006. It was inaugurated during the 50 th Founding Anniversary of the Ins9tute of Nursing, January 2006. The students listen intently to the short lecture on “Simula9on In Nursing” given by Assistant Dean FrancoTantuico. She also shared her experience in the United States as to how the Learning/Simula9on Center at Trinitas School of Nursing improved student performance in the clinical area.
