Public Bodies (Joint Working)(Scotland) Bill

The key feature of the Bill is that health boards and local authorities must take joint and equal responsibility for the delivery of all the nationally agreed outcomes for health and wellbeing.
How local services are organised at the front line is a matter for local areas/partnerships to agree.

Local integration will also take account of other recent or impending legislation to ensure that the new arrangements are as state-of-the-art as possible
These include:• The Social Care (Self-directed support) (Scotland) Act 2013.• The Children and Young People (Scotland) Bill (when enacted).• The Community Empowerment and Renewal Bill (currently being consulted upon).
