Detecting outgas and substance identification with high accuracy
By utilizing NDK's all knowledge of crystal technology and collaborating with JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), new QTGA (QCM Thermogravimetric Analysis)sensor system debuts!
Quartz crystal sensor captures outgas, measures the total amounts, and analyzer can identify the type of adsorped substance.

When a substance is adsorbed on the electrode of QCM sensor, frequency shifts to lower side equivalent for mass amount. This is called as “Mass load effect.”
Twin sensor can cancel the influence of measurement environment.

The twin sensor has two electrodes, a reaction electrode and a reference electrode on one crystal blank. This enables users to always get real detection amount with twin sensor as differential output frequency, without any influence of measurement environment (See chart below).
