is good for all planets When malefic become completely auspicious by

ownership of a kendra and Trikona at the same time e g Saturn for Libra and

Taurus is termed Yoga karaka and by himself confers one type of yoga called

Raja Yoga Even here if he is in conjunction with an Unfriendly planet and a

malefic such as Sun his good effects will to that extent be correspondingly

reduced

(3) The conjunction opposition etc of inherent malefics are as a rule bad and

the conjunction of a malefic with a benefic ordinarily affects the nature of the

latter adversely This always holds good Certain yogas are relate to such

combinations and they are classed separately and are treated as beyond the

scope of the ordinary rules In this there are good yogas as well as bad yogas

The genius of interpretation of Hindu Astrology largely consists of recognising

correlating and synthesising such yogas in the judgment of a horoscope after

carefully appraising their strength though the combination which technically

constitutes a yoga is present not all yogas take effect to the same extent and

in the same manner A strict individualization of the peculiar positions present

in each horoscope is imperative
