Congratulations to Sydney Pacific’s Masters Athletes Janelle Delaney (sprinter), Peter Crombie

(sprinter) and Graham Allomes who were nominated for 2015-16 Athletics NSW Awards.

Graham is one of Sydney Pacific’s longest serving athletes (70+ age group) and is a great ambassador

for the Sydney Pacific Athletic Club. Graham competes in a range of summer and winter competitions

and is well known for competing in/assisting with NSW Winter Cross Country competitions and

championships.

THE 2016 ‘HUMPTY’ BALMORAL BURN

Each year, families, corporations, children and pets take on the 420m race course up Awaba Street in

Mosman as they run or walk for Humpty. The 2016 Balmoral Burn is being held on Sunday 29 May

2016. Sydney Pacific athletes have been very successful in this event in past years.

The Athletics NSW (ANSW) Winter season has commenced. There are X-country and road racing

competitions and championships as well as winter Track & Field competitions:

The 11km course is uphill - the overall climb is 520m. Heather Hozack was placed 6th in the

JOINT SUBMISSION TO THE NSW GOVERNMENT FOR NARRABEEN TRACK UPGRADE

On 9 March 2016 the Sydney Pacific Athletic Club and Manly Warringah Little Athletics made a

Joint Submission to the NSW Government to upgrade the Narrabeen Track at the Sydney

Academy of Sport & Recreation, Narrabeen.

KIDS COACHING

A number of Sydney Pacific’s active athletes are Accredited Track & Field (T&F) Coaches and parents

of young children. Heather Hozack conducts ‘Kids Coaching’ in the Northern Beaches area. Heather

is a Level 1 Accredited T&F Club Coach, PDHPE Teacher and has accreditation through the IAAF ‘Kids

Athletics’ Program (please click here for IAAF information).

Heather’s weekly programs are held on:
