Thanksgiving:

It's that �me of year when we gather as a church family to celebrate the goodness of the

Lord! And we do that with Turkey and Dressing and all the family favorites! November 9 is

our annual Thanksgiving Church Family Celebra�on. We will meet at 5 pm and enjoy a

great �me of food and fellowship (the church is providing the turkey and dressing--you be

sure to bring a couple of your family favorites to share). And then we will gather in the

worship center to celebrate the goodness of God! We have special guests with us that

night! Make plans to bring your family to the table!

A Word to Our Guests: Thank you for being in our worship this morning. We are honored that you have

chosen to worship with us and we look forward to knowing you. We ask that everyone completes a Con-

do want to connect with you. We encourage you to take advantage of our nursery area, as well as our

children and youth ministry. Check out the Small Group op�ons for adults as well. As you leave today

Spiritual Toolbox Launches Today: We are excited to announce the launch of a new ministry service

we're calling the Spiritual Toolbox. We want to make it easier for parents to have a spiritual influence in

the life of their kids. It is our hope that we can make what happens on Sunday s�ck throughout the

week. This is an email for families with children ages 4 to 18. Families, if we have your email address,

the Toolbox will arrive in your inbox today at 11:45.

Youth Fall Retreat THIS FRIDAY! If you registered for the Fall Retreat, we will see you here at church

at 4pm on Friday. Remember, one clothing bag plus sleeping stuff separately if needed. Also NO hand-

held game devices or anything with headphones allowed. We’ll return to the church at 4:30pm on Satur-

day. Don't forget to bring your medical and release forms on Friday!

Thanksgiving Dinner: Join us November 9th for our church-wide Thanksgiving dinner and service. Dinner

begins at 5PM, followed by a concert with special guests Trent and Shelly Monk at 5:45PM. Bring your

favorite Thanksgiving side dish and dessert. Childcare will be available during the concert for children up

to age 3. Don’t miss it!

Youth Walk-a-thon Monies Due If you participated in the walk-a-thon to help cut your cost for Haiti or

Youth Camp, your payments are due to the church office no later than next Sunday. You can put them in

the payment box with your students name. amount, and "youth camp" or "haiti" on the check.

Family Mission Project: Sunday evening, November 16, our New Work families have an opportunity to

participate in a missions project together. We're packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. We'll

have the boxes and labels you'll need. Shopping lists of things to put in your box are available in the

Cafe' & at the Kids Ministry Info Desk. Please join us at 5:00 for a great time for families.

New Members Class November 19th: If you're new around here and have questions or if you've been

here for awhile and are ready to take the next step in your commitment to NWF, make plans to attend

the next Membership Class. Wednesday, November 19th from 5:45PM-7:15PM in Room 202. Have a

snack supper from the café followed by an informational class to answer your questions about our be-

liefs and practices and giving you the opportunity to join the church. RSVP on your Connect Card.

Mission Trip Update: A few weeks ago was our Missions Sunday. If you were here that day then you

heard about the upcoming mission trips. The deadline to sign-up for these trips is coming up. Appalachi-

an trip - June 7th - 12th. The Costa Rican trip is July 7th - 14th. We need to know as soon as possible if

you are interested in these life changing opportuni�es so accommoda�ons can be made. For more infor-

ma�on please write: "Appalachia" or "Costa Rica" on your connect card or see Willis.

Youth GREAT RAKE: It's that �me of year where we can "fall" into being the hands and feet of Jesus!

Teenagers, once all the leaves fall we will have our Great Rake Missions event on a Sunday aHer the third

service. You'll need to bring a rake and wear your missions t-shirt (Don't have one? See Janey - they are

FREE!). It should be in a couple of weeks, so keep your ears open as to when it will be!
