• Recognize, avoid and effectively recover from emergency and unusual attitude situations • Develop and maintain basic aerobatic skills • Participate in specialized ground school emphasizing the dynamics of upsets, over- banks, various stalled flight conditions, control loss and spins • Increase confidence in all aspects of “edge of the envelope” flight conditions • Enhance overall flying skills to improve flight safety • Instill confidence and peace of mind All APS instructor pilots are highly experienced aviators each with a unique combina- tion of extensive experience in military, commercial, multi-engine, turbojet and aerobatic aircraft. Regardless of your experi- ence level, our pilots put you and your team at ease in a friendly, professional, learning- based training environment. The Extra 300L is used by top aerobatic and air show performers worldwide. Although a prominent focus of our training courses is to teach recovery tech- niques within the limits of YOUR aircraft, our Extra 300Ls are commercially certified aerobatic training platforms, stressed to +/- 10G’s, have a roll rate of 360°/second and boast a published max gross climb rate in excess of 3200 fpm making it one of the safest and most capable aircraft in the sky. Our onboard multi-view digital audio/video system gives you a recorded keep-sake of your training. At APS we are committed to providing industry leading upset recovery training in real aircraft. We have aligned our courses recovery techniques with the FAA Upset Recovery Training Aid to ensure that learned pilot recovery procedures compliment recovery techniques taught in commercial simulator training. APS exposes pilots to “edge of the envelope” maneuvering not possible during normal emergency flight training due to the aerobatic limitations of standard training aircraft. Pilots of all skill levels are taught how to assess the situation and then take immediate action to recognize, avoid and recover from in-flight unusual attitude scenarios. • Loss of control • Stalls / approach to stalls • Over banked situations • Rolling upsets & wake turbulence recovery • Minimum altitude loss / terrain avoidance • Nose-high / nose-low unusual attitude recognition & recovery • Spin avoidance / recognition / recovery • Slow-speed maneuvering / characteristics • Control failure • Engine-out landing • Inverted flight recovery techniques • Exposure to wide variations of advanced and aggravated spin modes (includes inverted spins)

APS Emergency Maneuver Training is committed to improving safety of flight. Our professional pilot training courses

thoroughly address primary issues related to Loss of Control In Flight (LCIF), one of

the leading causes of commercial aviation fatal accidents worldwide.

“My Emergency Maneuvers/Upset Training was awesome. Imagine spending several hours in anaircraft that will do just about anything you ask it to, under the tutelage of top-notch former military flight instructors! If you read the magazine articles and accident reports, you can easily get the idea that any deviation from the normal flight regime is a no-win disaster situation. This training explored the edges of the envelope and showed me that most unusualsituations have a response that will bring things back to “shiny side up” in no time. My confidence as a pilot increased 1000 percent after taking the course. The aircraft were beautiful (relatively new Extras – not old warbirds), and the staff and instructors wereexceptionally professional and courteous. The ground school classes followed a good curriculum and were highly educational.

Was it scary? Not after I realized how capable the aircraft and the instructors are. Was it expensive? Not compared to always wondering if “Caution – wake turbulence” would be the last words I ever heard. Was it fun? It was absolutely a blast!”

“The Aviation Performance Solutions LLC (APS) Emergency Maneuver Training program is far more comprehensive than the majority of ‘other’ courses offered out there. In my opinion, the equipment used by APS and the experience level of its instructors are espe-cially well-suited to the corporate and airline trainingmarket.”
