Berryhill at the Helm: Former Atlanta Braves catcher Damon Berryhill is the sixth manager in the nine-year history of the G-Braves. He is 455-422 (.519) in 877 games across nine seasons as a MiLB manager, including stops at Advanced-A Bakersfield (Texas Rangers, 2008), Rookie-level Ogden (Los Angeles Dodgers, 2009-13), Triple-A Albuquerque (Dodgers, 2014) and Triple-A Oklahoma City (Dodgers, 2015). Berryhill was named the Pacific Coast League Manager of the Year in 2015 after guiding Oklahoma City to a league-best 86-58 record and the American Northern Division title.

Today’s Start: 31-year-old right-hander Kris Medlen makes his fourth start with Gwinnett and eighth start of the season today in the finale of this three-game series vs. Norfolk.
