The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India better known as CREDAI is the apex body for private real estate developers in India, representing over 9,000 developers through 22 states and 142 city level member associations across the country. CREDAI Andhra Pradesh is a state federation with 18 chapters and 1200 members.

CREDAI Hyderabad is the Hyderabad chapter of CREDAI, promoting real estate development in Hyderabad with a national impetus. CREDAI Hyderabad comprises a league of developers and builders who have over the years earned a reputation among buyers and investors. Aiming at taking the realty sector of the state to higher standards, CREDAI Hyderabad constantly strives to bring in the best practices prevalent in the industry nationwide in terms of innovative ideas, latest trends and standards in construction activities and takes sincere efforts to maintain integrity & transparency in the realty sector.

As an integral part of CREDAI, the apex body of organized real estate developers across India, CREDAI Hyderabad will voice and represent issues and proactive policies before the government and other concerned authorities. The association will seek to redress issues pertaining to taxation and stamp duty, promulgate prudent strategies for affordable housing and to provide good return of investment for consumers.

CREDAI perpetuates an ethical code of conduct which is mandatory for all the member developers/ builders of CREDAI Hyderabad to maintain integrity & transparency in the profession of real estate development. It represents the overall interests of developers/builders in Hyderabad by engaging in regular dialogue and representation with concerned authorities, on policy or regulation related issues. CREDAI also creates a platform for developers / builders to work together towards improving quality of development and construction by sharing efficiency ideas, and eventually work towards sustainable constructions. CREDAI provides a transparent platform for property purchasers, sellers and housing �nance agencies alike which helps in promoting stability and growth in the Real Estate sector. Further, CREDAI strives to address grievances of property purchases in a timely fashion.

OBJECTIVES OF CREDAI

CREDAI Hyderabad since it's inception has been at the forefront of formulating policies bene�tting all stakeholders of the Industry. It has emerged as a body which represents the Industry and related issues in an organized professional manner. The recent achievements of CREDAI include shaping the nationally acclaimed G.O 86 which has been applauded as a path breaking and progressive legislation which has improved in transparency and accountability to the Industry. Apart from this, CREDAI has also played a vital role in shaping The EWS & LIG policy in the state.

On a daily basis, CREDAI has addressed numerous issues such as restrictions on sand mining, collection of VAT and participates in meeting and brainstorming sessions to introduce friendly facilities such as Green Channel. CREDAI has also been committed to its social responsibilities and was instrumental in restoring Lotus Pond in Banjara Hills to all its splendour. Further it has a made contributions to the extent of Rs 10 lakhs towards Solid Waste Management and Rs 50 lakhs for the �ood affected victims of Andhra Pradesh.

The Show will see participation from over developers and stakeholders from the �nancial and manufacturing sectors. This Show would serve as a medium for all large, medium and small developers to exhibit their projects. The platform is advantageous, especially for medium and small developers, who are not in a position to spend huge budgets on their marketing campaigns. Their participation in the CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show can lead to higher visibility in the eyes of the general public.

Two weeks prior to the Property Show, one will �nd advertisements about the Show in major national and regional newspapers. The Property Show will also be marketed through scrolls in regional TV channels along with advertisements. This vibrant marketing program will de�nitely result in creating higher awareness about the Property Show among the average Hyderabadi. The Property Show venue (Jalavihar) is strategically located in the heart of Hyderabad city, and is equidistant from all four directions. Due to the scenic location of the venue and the event dates spread over a weekend, the Property Show is expected to have large number of footfalls. At a reasonable estimate, the Show is expected to have a turnout of around 50,000 visitors.

The advent of cyber cities, burgeoning SEZs and state-of-the-art townships over the past decade in Hyderabad has led to a sudden and exponential growth as well as major changes in the State's realty sector. Since the last decade, the real estate sector has turned from a fragmented industry into a more organized one by adopting a sophisticated approach in selling, cutting-edge construction technology, customer -centric philosophy and imbibing the work culture of national and multinational �rms. There has been a paradigmatic shift from family-owned realty businesses to professionally managed ones. One of the signi�cant changes experienced by the realty sector was the introduction of second generation entrepreneurs. This new breed of entrepreneurs changed the business scenario through new ideas and approaches by hiring quali�ed professionals in areas like project management, architecture and engineering in order to meet the dynamic needs of managing multiple projects across cities.

Hyderabad has undergone rapid urbanization - to the extent that today, over 8 million people (17% of the overall population) inhabit the city. There has been a gradual, but certain increase in residential demand and absorption. Considering the current demand and supply situation in the realty sphere, CREDAI Hyderabad is conducting its Property Show at Jalavihar, Necklace Road from 28th Feb to 2nd Mar, 2014. The CREDAI Property Show endeavors to serve as a unique platform for all kinds of developers and will enable them to showcase their projects irrespective of their scale of operations or sales. Moreover, the huge need to develop synergies amongst developers largely in�uenced the creation of CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show.

Every so often one needs to surprise oneself. The CREDAI AP Property Show was conceived in early October and miraculously moved from the idea to completion stage in 30 days, transcending conventional time barriers for such an event. It was indeed a 30 day miracle possible only through the unfailing commitment and resilient efforts of all the members. It has set new standards in the realty sphere, a new benchmark achieved through the con�uence and co-creation of Developers and agencies. The long debated idea of hosting a Property Show by Developers for the public �nally came to fruition under the guidance of the office bearers and the combined efforts, commitment and improvisation of various committees set up for achieving this arduous task.

In retrospect the members can proudly state that the ‘framework for change’ of property shows towards customer oriented, credible and trustworthy shows has been provided by them. The massive event grew in con�dence through the 3 days and �nished off with a bang attracting 70,000 visitors.
