6 Clue Hunting - @MissFenna1G
Year 1 Green had an interesting morning hunting
for a creature which had escaped on the academy
grounds. They worked together to hunt for clues
which were blue and shiny!
1G discovered that the creature was a Bog Baby
and there were 2! Children were all very excited
and are going to take very good care of them. We
have written invitations to invite them on their trip. to
the beach! We hope they enjoyed their day out.
Lights, Camera, Action - @MrM_6Yellow
Stop the press! Scripts for the end of year
performance 'Lights...Camera...ACTION!!' have been
handed out. Auditions will be held next week.
We can’t wait to see it, Year 6!
Stained Glass Success - @MrNewmanMG
4Y designed stained glass windows that tell the story
of the Plague in Eyam, in the style of the real window
in St Laurence Church. Looking good, 4Y.
Creative Challenge - @eyfsMissP
Not only was nursery’s 'beach in a bottle' activity
super fun and tactile, but it allowed the children to
explore measurement and capacity.
They loved using funnels to pour the water into their
bottles, problem solving how to adjust their speed to
avoid any spillages!
Miss Price’s Twitter Handle is now @eyfsMissP
Team Work - @MGY4G
Many hands make light work in
4G. Children have enjoyed
putting their heads together to
solve some maths problems!
Under The Sea - @eyfsMissP
Yet another wonderful homework craft from our lovely nursery parents
and families...under the sea creatures! We think they look magnificent
enhancing nursery’s under the sea area...do you agree?

Attendance Matters at Manor Green
As you know, attendance is a high priority at Manor
Green. We’re taking this opportunity to share the
average monthly attendance percentages with you.
As you can see, we hit a high of 97.03% in April but
attendance in May dropped to a year low of 93.94%.
Working together, we can make the difference and hit
our target of 97.5%.
Monthly attendance so far this academic year is:
September – 96.36%, October 95.06%, November 95.97%,
December 94%, January 94%, February 94.8%, March
95.45%, April 97.03% & May 93.94%.
Please help us to improve this figure.
Fabulous Fractions – @MrsOConnor3G
For their new maths unit on TIME, 3G have
invented their own mnemonic to help them
remember the order of the months of the year.
Brilliant Breakfast Club!
We’ve been delighted by the positive response to our new Breakfast Club – the children love it, especially
Mrs. Clegg’s daily specials! Please see the updated menu and price list below. Please remember that the
club, open from 8:20am, is free to attend and children only pay for what they eat.
Friendly Faces, our fee-paying care club, is open from 7:30am daily.
