DIRECTIONS TO THE SROC:Waseca is located 13 miles west of Owatonna and27 miles east of Mankato. The SROC is on the westedge of Waseca (across from Loon Lake).
The Agronomy Field Tour will provide research-basedinformation for crop producers, crop consultants,agribusiness staff, farm managers, Extension educators,government agency personnel and anyone involved inagricultural crop production.
The tour will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. and will NOTbe repeated, so it is important to arrive prior to 8:30.The field tour will conclude at approximately 11:30 a.m. with a picnic lunch and time for Q&A. The tour will beheld rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather,the program will be held in the SROC AdministrationBuilding.

VOLUNTEERS WANTEDThe University of Minnesota is looking for up to
ten farmers or crop consultants to participate in
a one-time, 90 minute focus group. The purpose
of the focus group is to learn what options for
improving non-cropland wildlife habitat (if any)
are feasible on or around their farms. The focus
group will take place following the Agronomy
Field Tour on June 20th at the Southern Research
and Outreach Center in Waseca, MN. It will start
at 1 PM and run until 2:30 PM. Participants will
be reimbursed for their travel. If you have
