• Certification process & Audits :
» Stage 1 – Readiness review
» Stage 2 – Evaluation of implementation A certificate valid for 3 years is issued upon satisfacto ry results of stage 2 audit
» Surveillance: 2 audits on a yearly basis performed to verify that the management system still fulfilling IATF Standard requirements
» Recertification: 3 years after Stage2 audit, recertification audit will confirm the continued conformance and effectiveness of the management system as a whole
Note: In case of Transition from ISO/TS 16949:2009, process starts with a Transition Audit which is same than recertification audit then 2 surveillance audits.
