FREE TRAINING for Election Monitoring Operatives for Change (EMOs for Change)

The Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) invites you to join the Election Monitoring

Operatives for Change Project (EMOs for Change Project)--an election monitoring

initiative seeking to examine substantive aspects of the 2010 elections.

The School of Government recognizes that apart from the need to monitor procedural

aspects of the first automated national-local elections, there is also an imperative to

monitor the content of the elections – that is, to answer the question: How much

reforms are there in the 2010 elections?

EMOs for Change hopes to accomplish this by providing an easy-to-use monitoring tool

that makes apparent what reform looks like on the ground, thus allowing any citizen to

assess the level of reform present in election campaigns both national and local… See

More

A FREE training of EMOs for Change shall be conducted on May 8, 2010, 8:00am to

12:00nn at the Astoria Plaza, 15 J. Escriva Drive Ortigas Business District, Pasig

City. Those who wish to participate may contact Michelle Avelino via

email: michelle.avelino@ gmail.com or mobile number: 09194614233.

Ateneo Exhibit, Concert and Mass for the 2010 National

Elections

On May 8 (4:00-7:00 PM), join the Ateneo community in prayer for the 2010 National

Elections. An exhibit on Voters’ Education and Registration will be opened, followed by a

prayer concert in Church of the Gesu. The event will be culminated by a mass to be

presided by Bishop Teodoro Bacani. We have a Facebook event page: Prayers on

Election Eve!

May 10 is Election Day

Be a responsible voter! Know your candidates. Know who and, more importantly, what

you are voting for.

Attached is an Election Primer which includes PDF files of National Candidates Profiles

(Presidentiables, Vice Presidentiables, and Senatoriables), Party List, and

a Voter Guide. These can also be found in the Ateneo Task Force 2010 Facebook page.

If you still don't know where you will be voting, you may find it in the COMELEC

Website.

It’s YOUR country, YOUR elections, and YOUR time to build the nation. VOTE on May

10.
