MERCHANDISING

ATG Merchandising provides a rich set of tools for business users,

product/brand managers, and merchandisers to manage

products and their presentation in the Web storefront. They can

also control the promotions that are currently active on the site,

and define complex rules that govern how promotions are

presented. ATG’s Business Control Center (BCC), a Web-based

graphical interface, allows business personnel to manage and

maintain the Web storefront, including a complete and

customizable review and approval workflow.

SEARCH

ATG Search is a dynamic, integrated search solution that

incorporates natural language technology into your storefront. It

enables shoppers to quickly and efficiently navigate your

commerce site with features like faceted search results to find

the exact merchandise they want, as well as the ability make

purchases directly from the search results page. It also enables

“searchandising” (personalizing results for a given user) and

other marketing features like page redirects, results exclusion

and results positioning.

and validating credit card information. The system is designed

for flexibility and easy customization.

REPORTING AND MONITORING

Business managers can easily create and

define dashboards in a Web-based interface

that provide a convenient view of key

performance measures. Dashboards are an

assembly of predefined thumbnail reports

displayed side-by-side, allowing business users

to easily spot changes in the business

environment, just like on the dashboard of a

car. Supplied dashboards include views

customized for general managers, marketers,

and merchandisers.

CSC

ATG Commerce Service Center (CSC) allows you to

assist customers with their online orders, manage

customer information and perform a variety of

actions to orders.

MULTI-SITE

ATG architecture makes it simple to support multiple sites on a

single instance, leveraging common hardware and software.

Sites may be set up to share or segregate as many of the catalog,

user profile, and other site assets as desired. You have the

CAMPAIGN OPTIMIZER

CUSTOMER INTELLIGENCE

ATG Customer Intelligence is an integrated set of datamart and

reporting capabilities that monitor and analyze commerce and

customer care performance. It combines key data from the ATG

product suite, such as purchases, searches, escalations, and

click-thru’s, with behavioral data from customer on-site behavior

and available demographic data, such as age, gender, and

geography, to provide superior customer intelligence.

OUTREACH

The ATG Outreach server runs in your development

environment and enables ATG Outreach users to create

and manage campaigns via the ATG Business Control

Center. It takes advantage of the asset management

(“versioning”) and deployment facilities provided by the

underlying ATG Content Administration system.

SELF-SERVICE

The purpose of a Self Service site is to enable customers to

search for and/or resolve issues themselves using information

available on the Self Service site. The ATG Self Service site

enables a customer to contact your organization’s support

center when they are not able to find what they are looking

for on their own, or when additional help is required. When a

Contact Us form is submitted by a customer using the Self

Service site, a ticket is automatically created and customer

search history is appended to the ticket (recorded as Self

Service activity in the Ticket Activity panel).
