Athenian Academy of Clearwater and Ft. Myers – Board of Director Meeting
Monday December 10th, 2018 Board members; Ben Williams, Voula Patrides, Bill Nezer, Mark Tsetsi, John Pantazes
Visitors present; Paige Tavoularis, Alex Veloudos, Penny Diamantakos, KathyHershalman, June Caruso
The meeting was called to order at 8:21 AM. A quorum was established with the presence of Pastor Williams, Mark Tsetsi, Nezer, and John Pantazes.
1. A motion was made to approve the minutes read for October 10, 2018 and November 13, 2018. Motion by Bill Nezer, second by Mark Tsetsi. Motion passed by unanimous consent.
2. School Leader report – see attached.3. Motion by John Pantazes to approve Fall Festival money raised to be used for
employee bonus for Christmas (rounded up to $50). Second by Mark Tsetsi. Motion passed by unanimous consent.
4. Motion by John Pantazes to distribute funds from School recognition Funds to staff. Second my Bill Nezer. Motion passed by unanimous consent.
5. PTA report by Brandi Sumlin – PTSA Newsletter attached.6. Board nominates John Pantazes to be Vice President of the Athenian Academy
Board of Directors. 7. Mark Tsetsi made a motion to go with he new Neighborhood Health policy,
second by John Pantazes. If a better value policy is found before enrollment isclosed that option is available to the management company. Motion passed with unanimous consent.
Ft. Myers School Minutes and Motions
1. Fort Myers school leader report. Attached.2. Management company report. Attached.3. Motion to approve revised budget for Fort Myers. Motion by John Pantazes
and second by Mark Tsetsi. Passed with unanimous consent.4. Motion to accept proposal contingent on negotiated fnal numbers. Motion by
John Pantazes and second by Bill Nazes. Motion passed with unanimous consent.
5. A motion was made to adjourn the board meeting at 8:40 AM. The motion was made by John Pantazes and seconded by Mark Tsetsi, the motion passed unanimously.
