COMMUNITY CORNER

HOLIDAY TRADITIONS• Bake special treats and let your little ones help.

It may get messy, but that’s half the fun!

• Watch classic holiday movies. Top the night off with a cup of hot chocolate, a plate of chocolate chip cookies and a bowl of popcorn.

• Create your own holiday cards to send out.

• Decorate gingerbread houses.

• Spread some holiday cheer and volunteer for a local community service project.

COOGS DAY OF SERVICETDECU partnered with the University of Houston Career Services and Rebuild Houston for Coogs Day of Service. TDECU employees worked side by side with UH students to help Ms. Anita G., a local Harris County neighbor with some home improvement projects. The volunteers spent the day painting the exterior of her home and upgrading her lawn with new landscaping. Going well beyond just providing financial products, TDECU is committed to giving back to the communities it serves and helping improve the quality of life for our Members and Employees.

HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE TDECU Members and Employees came together to help make the upcoming holiday season a little brighter for those in need. Non-perishable food items were collected throughout the month of October to help restock the shelves of local food pantries and community support groups. The two-week effort resulted in over 2,000 donated items being delivered to various organizations, including the Women’s Center of Brazoria County, Houston Food Bank, Yoakum Food Bank and Meals on Wheels Central Texas.

Spending time with family and friends is one of the best ways to spend the holiday season. To help make this year one to remember, we’ve compiled a list of some fun traditions for you and your family to enjoy.

From all of us at TDECU, we wish you a very happy and healthy holiday season!

REVIEW YOUR TAX WITHHOLDINGS Have you had a major life change (employment change, marriage/divorce, a new child)?
