HOMELESSNESS ENDED FOR 774 PEOPLE.

Atlanta Mission has helped me find my direction

and calling again. I will never be able to fully thank everyone

who supports this program.”

“VALERIE

Dear Friends,

With your help we prepared and served warm meals to the homeless in

our community. We prepared great places for them to rest, clean up and

sleep. We ministered to their spirits, too, speaking words of hope, wisdom

and new life. Not with a bullhorn, but rather by embracing them, calling

them by name, learning about their strengths, and helping them chart a

path out of homelessness.

Thank you for having such compassion.

Behind the scenes we continue to take extraordinary steps to fulfill our

promise to end homelessness in the lives of everyone who accept our

offer of help. We pressed hard to establish new children’s programs,

leveraging the unique opportunity we have with children who stay with

their moms at My Sister’s House. This included adding specialized staff,

working with schools and after school programs, and partnering with

others to cultivate greatness in these children.

Our donors have been wonderful. And ours is a community that

enthusiastically serves our clients through Bible studies, job training,

GED education, parenting classes and food service. But that’s not all.

Generous volunteers have designed, built, painted and furnished spaces

where healing and transformation happen.

It is with humble and grateful hearts that we share a few highlights of the

work God is doing through all of us at Atlanta Mission. Through Christ,

together, we are ending homelessness.

Blessings,

Growing with God

Atlanta Mission is developing the best services to help those we serve find hope and make progress in 5 key areas:

CHALLENGES LIkE THESE AND POOR DECISIONS

PUSH MEN AND WOMEN INTO HOMELESSNESS.

Atlanta Mission believes that true life transformationhappens through a personal relationship with Christ

and life-on-life relationships with others.

A former nurse and professionally trained chef, Veronica’s addiction led

her to dark places. While she was able to leave drugs behind many years

ago, breaking the chains from alcohol proved to be a bigger challenge.

As a mother, Veronica knew that she could not be the mother her

children needed without seeking help. When she hit the bottom, Atlanta

Mission was there to catch her and her family. Through the programs at

My Sister’s House, Veronica has left her addictions behind. Because of

friends and partners like you, she has experienced healing and a renewed

relationship with God. She is looking forward to reentering the medical

profession and is grateful for a fresh start at life.

“I want to tell donors, ‘Thank God for you!”
