Introduction To Atlantis Testing

• Project Atlantis goes live on April 1st, replacing the existing settlement platform (EGAINS)

• Testing is required by firms to confirm data accuracy and product functionality

• Multiple test cycles have been scheduled to align with product releases (sprints)

• Test cycles designed to prepare participants for Project Atlantis launch

• Sign-off required by firms:

– All firms

• Jan 20 – Acknowledgement of testing and launch timeline

– Firms Actively Testing

• Feb 15 – Trade data accurate and Atlantis fee calculation understood

• March 10 – Settlement cycle workflow and general functionality understood

Test Plan and Execution

• FIA Tech will conduct webinars prior to each test cycle

• Webinars will introduce functionality available for testing

• Test plan documents will be distributed to guide firms through test cycle

• Firms should perform tests and report test results to FIA Tech

Exception Tracking/Bug Reporting

If a user experiences an issue while testing, please report the issue by using the Help functionality that is available within Atlantis:

• Click Help in the upper right corner in Atlantis

• A form will display, that will allow the user to report their issue directly to FIA Tech

Be sure to include the following info when submitting issue:o User’s nameo User’s email address (that you used to log into FIA

Tech Atlantis UI)o Select “Atlantis” as the Product from the drop downo Select a Category from the drop down o A detailed explanation of the issue that you are

experiencingo As applicable, provide the steps that you took that lead

you to experience the issue or bugo Attach a screenshot of the bug or error message

• FIA Tech will respond via email to your issue and escalate the

issue accordingly. FIA Tech will log and track all issues

reported by firms through resolution

Atlantis Test Groups

• FIA Tech will assign firms to “Test Groups” for all test cycles

• Test Groups are intended to streamline testing among EBs and CBs

• Test Group firms will interact together to test Project Atlantis workflow

• Firm will receive their Test Group assignments along with the Test Plans

Next Steps

• By Jan 20th, firms must acknowledge receipt of testing timeline and go-live

date

• Test Plans and Test Group assignments will be distributed by Jan 19th

• Webinar will be held Jan 20th to review Atlantis Settlement Cycle Workflow

and Test Cycle #1

• Firms begin Test Cycle #1 from Jan 23rd to Feb 2nd
