A daèe is like a sales-person, – Tries to sell the product in the best manner; overlooks even if something in or about the customer is not likeable. In a successful business it is said: 'The customer is always right.'

- To make a point in his/her favor (i.e., to be “one-up”). - To test your knowledge.

Satisfies the curiosity of the questioner; makes sense

Generates interest in what you say
