KRÁLOVOPOLSKÁ, a.s. • The company has a 120 year's tradition in the manufacture of equipment.
In 1889 Messrs. Lederer and Porges established machine works for
the manufacture of steam boilers, wagons and compressors. In the twenties of
the last century, the manufacture of cranes was included into the production
program, and in 1950 the manufacture of equipment for chemical industry was
launched.
• In the sixties of the last century, the manufacture of equipment and piping systems
for nuclear power plants was launched in a new building with own designing
and engineering department available.
Since 1980 emphasis has been placed on the manufacture of equipment for
chemical and petrochemical industries and nuclear power engineering, as well as
on the fabrication of steel structures and special cranes. These types of products
represent the main production program of the company also at present.
• The manufacture of equipment according to the customer's documentation plays
an important role in the company production program when implementing
complete industrial plants.
KRÁLOVOPOLSKÁ, a.s.
• In 1992 KRÁLOVOPOLSKÁ became a joint stock company, and in 2004
the Czech holding BRASS, s.r.o. became its majority shareholder.
• In 2010 the company has signed the respective contract and started
implementing the deliveries of equipment for final construction of the Mochovce
Power Plant (3rd and 4th blocks), Slovak Republic, with Italian company ENEL
being its majority shareholder.
• The company makes the equipment from carbon, alloy and stainless steels,
including bimetal machining.
• The company products are well known in the countries of Central and Northern
Europe, in the Baltic states, in the Middle East and, of course, in Russia,
Ukraine and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

“Chemistry“ shop area: 18,000 sq m, equipped with cranes with a lifting
capacity of 160 tons.

• In the period from 1965 to 1986, the special shop that is now owned by MBNS – International,
spol. s r. o. manufactured the equipment and piping for nuclear power plants in Jaslovské
Bohunice, Dukovany, Mochovce, and Temelín.
• In 2005 and 2006, another equipment for Mochovce was delivered and the company is ready
to ensure further deliveries for nuclear power plants.
• The daughter company MBNS – Kovárna, s. r.o., which is also experienced in the deliveries
for nuclear power plants, offers smith and die forgings made from both carbon and austenitic
steels according to the customer's requirements (flanges, shell rings, fittings, etc.).

• The high quality production according to EN, DIN and ČSN Standards enables
to increase the export share in the increasing turnover every year. The export share
has stabilized at the level of 85% in the last year, and the products are exported
to 20 countries worldwide. The main foreign customers include the companies form
the EU, Eastern Europe and, last but not least, from the USA.

• The history and tradition of the company dates back to 1869 where the factory První
česká akciová společnost (The First Czech Shareholding Machine Works),
later known as Škodovy závody (The Škoda Works), was established.
This year we commemorate its 140th anniversary.
• The company production program is focused on the production for power
engineering, chemical and petrochemical industries.
• The large-size equipment is intended for heavy-duty chemical processes with a
working pressure up to 30 MPa and working temperatures ranging from -193 C to
+1500 C. A considerable part of the production program covers the production
of heat exchangers, boilers, columns, tanks, and special equipment.
• The manufacturing and technological capacities of the company have enabled to
produce relatively sophisticated equipment. Welding machines and technologies are
able to ensure the products of all steel grades, including stainless steels and special
high-grade steels.
