AT&T IP Flexible Reach and AT&T Voice DNASM.

What is AT&T IP Flexible Reach?

AT&T IP Flexible Reach is a service that includes both inbound and outbound calling on your data network, giving you local, U.S. long distance, and international reach for your U.S. sites. AT&T IP Flexible Reach is the foundation for many AT&T Business Voice over IP Services.

What is the difference between and AT&T Voice DNASM Service and the AT&T Voice DNASM Administrator Application?

AT&T Voice DNASM service is a managed-network, hosted-IP telephony application that eliminates the need for a PBX at your location. AT&T Voice DNASM Service is always ordered in conjunction with AT&T IP Flexible Reach, which supports the local and long distance calling plan.

The AT&T Voice DNASM Administrator Application utilizes a web-based tool that provides centralized administration of the features assigned to employees, hunt groups and Call Distribution features, and access to service reports.

Can I issue my own orders for AT&T IP Flexible Reach and AT&T Voice DNA Service?Yes, you can. However, online ordering is restricted to “change orders” only, which are orders that change existing service. You cannot place online orders to request new service or to request that service be disconnected these orders must go through your AT&T AE.


AT&T Business VoIP eOrdering Support

The following changes to AT&T Business VoIP Services can be initiated via eOrder from the Order Business Services application on the AT&T BusinessDirect portal:

IP Flexible Reach Service•Add AT&T Telephone Numbers to existing account

• Port in Telephone Numbers from other Service Providers

• Change Directory Delivery and Directory Listing Information

• Change Caller ID Listed Name

•Change Collect Call Blocking Information (allow or restrict)

•Change Third Party billing options (allow or restrict)

•Change Private Dial Plan Ranges

AT&T Voice DNASM Service –(aka IP Centrex) •Add, Delete or Change AT&T Voice DNASM Feature Packages; Standard, Enhanced or Premium

• Add, Delete or Change AT&T Voice DNASM Optional (a la carte) Features such as, Conferencing Quantity, Call Distribution, and Auto Attendant.

•Add Call Tree Numbers (CTN) to an existing Auto Attendant, Remove CTN from an existing Auto Attendant, or Change Primary CTN to Secondary (or vice versa)

•Modify Auto Attendant Attributes (after initial order to set them up)

•Add AT&T Telephone Numbers to existing account

•Port in Telephone Numbers from other Service Providers

•Change Contact Information *

View Site Inventory •Once you have selected the site the View Inventory Details link is available on every eOrder page.

*Note: Customer can change their contact information by processing this change only in association with one of the changes listed above



•You must be registered with AT&T BusinessDirectSM (i.e. have a Business Direct log-in ID and Password from AT&T) and enabled with eOrdering application.

•Log into AT&T BusinessDirectSM and select “Order Business Services” from the menu. This launches the eOrdering Home page.

•Options are bolded for retrieval of accounts through eOrder based on registration. If registered for AT&T Voice DNA Service, then Change Option would be bolded.

•Begin the ordering process by selecting from specific MCN, GRC, SOC combination. Once the MCN,GRC, SOC are selected you can select the type of eOrdering activity you wish to perform Add or Change

•Query on Site Location to select the location for the order.

•Select activities from eOrdering BVoIP Change Activity Menu. Populate screens indicative to particular change order activity

•Submit order to Shopping Cart, Name the Cart , Save the Cart and Check- Out the Order. All order are sent to AT&T representative to review and complete. AT&T Rep will contact you within 3 business days to discuss your order.

•Upon release of the eOrder, you will receive an acknowledgement email containing high level order details.

•While AT&T is working the order you will not have the capability to perform updates to this specific request.

Select Order Business Services from AT&T BusinessDirect options to launch eOrdering for AT&T Voice DNASM or IP Flexible Reach (a.k.a IP Local)



Select Change Service Option to issue an Add/Change order for AT&T Voice DNASM or IP Flexible Reach (a.k.a IP Local)



This is the first screen in the Change Ordering Option. To begin ordering, select your MCN/GRC and Customer Name from the drop down boxes for the account information you wish to issue a change order against. The information in the drop down boxes is pre-populated for you based on the information you provided when you registered for AT&T Voice DNA eOrdering.

. Select MCN, GRC/SOC, Customer Name and hit Search to begin placing your change order. This action brings you to the Site Selection Inventory Retrieval screen.

There are multiple search options available to allow you to retrieve the location for your change order. You can elect to search on your Voice Over IP Options and/or City State, or you may choose Retrieve Location to see all locations

Based on the search options selected above your site address information will be populated in the Inventory Details Portion of the screen. Please select one Site Address to continue with your change order. Hit Search at the bottom of the screen and you will be taken to the Change Activity Menu

Once the site selection is made you can review the site level inventory

Once you have completed the initial search option to determine the location where the changes should be made, you may issue change orders for multiple change options, as needed, that are available from the change menu.

Initial search actions Search on MCNThen GRC, SOC, Customer NameSearch on Location to find the Site for the change ActivitySelect an option from the Change Activity Menu, such as “Add Telephone Numbers to your IP Local Service”Once you have completed the requirements for your change activity you will be asked if you want to add more activities to your order.

• If you do, then you would return to the Change Menu and select another change activity such as Change PBX Contact, Change Directory Delivery, Change Caller Id Options.

• If you are only performing one change you would say No to the question: “Do you want to add more activities to your order”. This would take you to the common order screen where you would enter your CRDD and notes and submit the order to the shopping cart.

Adding Telephone Numbers to Existing BVoIP Service


To Add AT&T Telephone Numbers to your account or to Move/Port Numbers from the Local Exchange Company to add to your account, Select this option and hit next

Adding Telephone Number(s) to your AT&T BVoIP Location

(VDNA or IP Flexible Reach)



Once you have entered the number of Telephone Numbers you wish to order and provided any pertinent remarks hit NEXT, you will get a pop up asking if you want to add more activities on the order, if not then select No and you will be brought to the Customer Requested Due Date Screen





Once you have hit OK, you will follow the same process as you did for Changing IP CENTREX Features, by naming your cart, saving your cart and then checking it out for further processing by AT&T.

An e-mail will be sent to you confirming your order

On the next screen you will be presented with a view of your existing inventory for Feature Package information and be able to make changes to this information

Add/Change AT&T Voice DNASM (a.k.a. IP Centrex) Feature Packages


The top half of the screen is the current inventory for the site you have selected

The bottom half of the screen is where you enter your updates

The desired Quantity is the new value plus or minus the existing value. If the Quantity field currently displays 8 and you wish to Add/Increase the quantity by 2 then you must enter 10 in the Quantity field. Likewise, if the Quantity field currently displays 8 and you wish to Change/Remove 2 then you must enter 6 in the Quantity field. The quantity entry is replacing the existing quantity with the desired quantity




Enter your requested due date and any pertinent notes and select Add to Cart

After selecting Add to Cart you will receive a Pop Up Box indicating your order has been successfully added to the shopping cart. This message also contains the Cart Reference number, Hit OK and proceed to check out




The Shopping cart number is associated to your project. This number always begins with ISR and is followed by 06 (year) 09 (month) 06 (date) followed by 5 numbers. Once you save your order and Check It Out You will receive an email acknowledgement email notification advising you that we are processing your eOrder, the email subject line will state Your Order ISR0609XX123456 has been submitted.

You can use the Shopping Cart number to check status in eOrder
