If in doubt consult a qualified electrician This is a 4 channel DMX interface and can be used with a suitable 12V/24V DC driver. For use with RGB and RGBW LED products INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Before commencing installation or maintenance ensure electricity is switched off at the mains. 1. Connect a suitable 12V or 24V DC LED driver to the GND (Neutral) and the Vin (Positive) 2. Connect the signal cable to the D- and D+ Wall Controller Buttons: Centre button (‘power’ symbol) turns your LED’s on/off. Middle left button (‘sun’ symbol) adjusts brightness. This button is a toggle switch; press and hold it to increase brightness, press/hold again to decrease brightness. Middle right button (‘play’ symbol) lets you cycle through 16 pre-programmed colour scrolls and effects. Tap the button to play and then tap it again to pause on that colour. Tapping the button a third time will move onto the next setting. Once you’ve chosen the setting you want, you can speed up or slow down the effect by holding the button down. The colour-wheel will select any static colour that you touch on the colour-wheel. This colour will remain set until you touch another button. The four ‘R’ ‘G’ ‘B’ ‘W’ buttons at the bottom of the wall controller stand for ‘red’, ‘green’, ‘blue’ and ‘white’. Any of these buttons will instantly set the brightness of the corresponding colour to 100%. For example, pressing ‘red’ and then ‘green’ will produce an orange light colour (as both red and green will be at 100% brightness, mixed equally). These buttons are toggle switches, working the opposite way as well – so if you press ‘red’ again that colour will be instantly set to 0% brightness, leaving you with just 100% green light. Once a colour has been set to 100%, holding down the corresponding colour button will reduce that colour’s brightness gradually. This is a great way to create custom whites. Storing colours: The ‘S1’ ‘S2’ ‘S3’ ‘S4’ buttons at the top of the controller enable you to save your favourite light settings (called ‘scenes’). If you create your own custom colour and want to save it, simply hold down a scene button – e.g. ‘S1’ – for 3 seconds and the colour setting will be stored to the same button. Now that your custom colour is stored, you can recall it instantly by tapping the ‘S1’ button. This wall controller unit lets you save up to 4 scenes (one for each ‘S’ button). To override a scene that you no longer require, simply perform the save process again with a new scene.
