Texas has kicked out some GREAT music over the years---From BobWills to Buddy Holly up to ZZ Top and Willie Nelson and a wholemess of others noted for their talent and stick-to-it-ness…and WEIRD

too.  Texas is where Roky Erickson and the 13th Floor Elevators camefrom…and the Butthole Surfers…and The Legendary StardustCowboy.  In the midst of all of this, 35 years ago the Hickoids playedtheir �rst show opening for The Meat Puppets and Black Flag.  At thisvery moment, Hickoids are on the road spreading their warped corn-infused cow punk Texasness to crowds across the globe.  And now forthe �rst time, you can absorb All The World's A Dressing Room:  Live inL.A. 08.24.2018.  Uno�cial bootleg might be the better term.  Some fantaped the show a year ago and uploaded it to one of those sick bird �lesharing sites.  Je� Smith and crew seized back what was rightfully theirsand we now have the CD and double LP to prove it with songs fromtheir long-time catalogue as well as a few choice cover songs.  Dig it…this is a good band….and a bit on the weird side.                                                  your friends at bdc…
