Welcome, On behalf of the Parent Action League Board, we would like to welcome you to our 25th Annual “Texas Celebration” Event. We are excited you have joined us for an evening of fun and excitement. Each year we are able to come together as a group and create an evening that benefits our children, First Baptist Church School and the Early Education Center. We want to thank the parents, teachers, aides and staff for their hard work and support in making “Texas Celebration” a successful event. Without each and every one of you, this evening would not be possible. To all the donors who contributed to our Live and Silent Auctions, General Store, Kids’ Booths, or made Sponsorships, we would like to say Thank You! Your support and generosity is greatly appreciated. It is all of your support that makes a difference in the education and experience we are able to provide to the children who attend First Baptist Church School and Early Education Center. We invite you to enjoy the evening with good food, great friends and fun entertainment. While our Game Booths are very entertaining, we must ask that all children be accompanied by an adult family member while participating in the games and activities, so that our staff may keep the games running smoothly. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. We are excited to have so many wonderful items in our Live and Silent Auction this year. The Live Auction will start promptly at 7pm and while the Live Auction is going, your children will need to be with you. The Silent Auction will close shortly after the last Live Auction item is auctioned and this will conclude our event for the evening. Once again, we THANK YOU for all of your kindness, generosity and support for First Baptist Church School, the Early Education Center and our children. We hope you have a great time as you spend this evening with us enjoying the festivities. Many Blessings, Debbie Forland, Texas Celebration Chairman

Whitetail Deer Hunt Brackettville, Texas This three day hunt takes place on the Boerschig Ranch approximately 2 miles north of Brackettville which is about 2 hours west of San Antonio. The ranch exceeds 18,000 acres of game fenced and free range pasture. The property contains approximately 60 deer blinds (including many doubles) to increase your chances of a trophy deer. This working cattle ranch has winter oat fields, native brush and live oak trees with acorns; all of which nourish the whitetail herd. Exotics roam the ranch and provide excellent wildlife viewing for the entire family. This hunt includes one whitetail buck (8 points or better) two does, a turkey, and all predators. Additional exotics or whitetails are available at our published price list. A private, nicely furnished ranch house is included with the hunt. Hunts such as this retail for $1,995 during the December rut! This hunt can be taken this fall between November 2nd and January 5th. Contact Diana Castillo at Wolverine Property Management, LLC (281) 391-9252 to schedule your hunt.
West Texas Free Range Aoudad Hunt Marfa, Texas This three day hunt takes place in some of the most scenic country in Texas; if not in all the lower '48. Neighboring mountain ranges (the Chianti's) exceed 7,000 feet in elevation. Vistas in all directions can exceed 20 miles. The hunt itself takes place on the Boerschig Ranch; exceeding 40,000 acres, the ranch starts at about 26 miles south of Marfa. An experienced ranch foreman will guide you on a three day hunt for an Aoudad - a sheep species that is originally native to the Barbary Coast of North Africa. Numerous 30 inch plus rams have been taken on this ranch. The scenery is fantastic with little evidence of civilization for miles. Shoot all coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions at no additional charge. This hunt is normally conducted from a Polaris Ranger or Jeep. Your marksmanship and hunting skills will be tested as our Aoudad can easily exceed 250 -300 pounds. Stay in our comfortable, modem three bedroom guest house with a fully equipped kitchen and satellite T.V. Hunts such as this in the west Texas region can exceed $4,000; our normal price for this hunt is $1,795. It is probably the best value of any hunt that we offer as the scenery and entire experience is exceptional. Hunts normally occur October thru April. Contact Diana Castillo at Wolverine Property Management, LLC (281) 391-9252 to schedule your hunt.
