Evaluation - Q3What have you learned from your audience
feedback?
Edit 1 - Feedback• I asked friends, family and teachers to give my first edit a watch, and
then give me some constructive criticism on how I could improve it.- From a professional viewpoint, my teachers thought it would be a
good idea to create some element of a narrative in the video, which would help it relate back to real music videos and the theories attached. - From a fans point of view, my friends and family thought it would be a
good idea to include the love interest that the song is about. This is why I had to film myself (as nobody else was available) packing a bag and writing a break up letter.
Edit 2 – Feedback • From the feedback from edit 1, I changed the camera shots and the
effects used. This increased the quality of work by a vast amount by making the product look more professional. - I then requested more feedback from teachers, friends and family. I
was told to include a narrative and another character. This would give the video more depth and it would easily apply to theories.
Final Edit• When putting together this edit, I chose to film and include a
narrative and more than one character. This was a huge success with my audience as they enjoys the variety of effects, shot and pace of editing I used.
