Our target audience is teenagers/ young adults between the age of 15 – 25. This is because we want to motivate them to do what they want and achieve what they can, and we think this age of audience will be a good group as they will be working out what they want to do with their life.

We are not targeting a particular gender so we aim to appeal to both male and females through the sporty theme. However, as females we want to highlight equality within sports.

Our audience are young people, so in today’s society they are consumed by the media and music so music is essential in their everyday life

Most new music are watched with the music video to go along with it to understand the lyrics more and the story. The video reflects the genre and sets the tone of the song. From the audience feedback we understood most of our target audience do watch the video, so we will make it motivational and upbeat to make it reflect a positive atmosphere

From the audience survey feedback, most of our target audience said they prefer the pop genre. We have took this into consideration and chose a pop song in the charts so it will appeal to them and follow the most common style of music they listen to

Our target audience overall mostly prefer a happy tone, and none like a relaxed as seen in the survey. We have chose a upbeat song and made the video energetic so throughout it all a happy tone is presented.

Although our video is motivational, coming over an issue is more of the focus for our music video. This is because we feature two different sides of society, Central London and small estates, showing the struggle for some individuals who still have ambitions to do well.

Our target audience would prefer a female singer, as it continues to highlight gender equality, with our video being about sports and ambitions. Having a female singer also allows us to use mise-en-scene more effectively, as we can widen the style and make up etc.

Our audience think it is important to see the artist performing the song in the video. We will include this as they can get a sense of the artists style and reflect this to the lyrics which will determine the tone and theme of the song.

Our audience would prefer to see a sports location and the streets/city. We will do this to show different contrasts in society; and a sports location as many young people can relate to this and it will interest them more.

In our video the target audience will prefer the costume of the artist to be normal and relatable. This is because they can appeal to the artist more and relate her to themselves while relating the situation in the video to themselves also.

Our target audience like to see a fast lifestyle. This is because young people in todays society live in a world controlled by money and power.

Our audience would prefer a story within a video. We will do this to make the lyrics more understandable and make them more interested and intrigued throughout.
