2. Studio Layout The studio layout is the way in which eachindividual studio room is altered to recreatesounds differently so that the artists ideal reproduction of their sounds can be achieved. 3. Pre production, production & Post Production This is the process which takes place in producing asoundtrack, pre production being the planning before thesoundtrack is recorded, production, the soundtrack beingrecorded itself and post production which is the editing of thefinal product. 4. Sequencers Sequencers are the way in which the track islaid out, creating the rhythm for thesong, which can be repeated over and overagain. 5. Effects During the editing process there may be amissing addition which needs to be added to thetrack such as reverberation to create anatmosphere for the sound, instead of rerecording the sound in a room which has beenmodified for reverberation you can usecomputerized effects which allow the editor toalter the sound to the ideal which they need it tobe., saving a lot of time in the post productionprogress. 6. File transfer, What is it? The movement of a file from one location toanother. Send files using the local network system EG:Henley college local network. Send files over the internet. 7. File transfer, What is it? Send files over Bluetooth. Zip files and how they are useful whensending large files. 8. ISDN What is it? ISDN used for sending voice, video and dataover digital telephone lines or normaltelephone wires. BRI (Basic Rate Interface) PRI (Primary Rate Interface) 9. Delay lines, what is it? Here is a graph showing the process of a delayline. 10. Linear, non-linear recording, What isit? Linear editing= Destructive Non-linear= Non Destructive 11. Example of non linear editing 12.
