2 CLIPSAL AUDIO SOLUTIONS

Audio Solutions that add value to your business

The growth of home theatre and entertainment packages offered to new home buyers is increasing at an incredible rate. Consumers are now more informed than ever before on what is available to them when they build a new home.

In every newspaper you will see catalogues advertising home entertainment surround sound systems and slim line LCD or plasma TV screens.

This is an opportunity for the Electrical Contractor to offer their professional cabling services to new home buyers.

Surround sound packages are one of the fastest growing areas in electronics. The only problem is that when the consumer takes it home to set up, they end up having speaker cabling running across the fl oor.

This can look unsightly and can be a tripping danger to small children.

Offer to install the cabling in the wall cavities where it should be. This will

provide a neat and tidy solution that the homeowner can connect to with ease.

It’s easy and simple to install. You do not need to be an audio specialist to do this.

There are no special tools or expertise required to install a Clipsal surround sound cabling system.

Follow the cabling diagrams as shown in this document for a trouble free installation with high performance to match.

Audio Solutions - Distributed AudioDistributed Audio One of the most popular additions to the home cabling market is the introduction of Distributed Audio.

What is Distributed Audio?

Distributed Audio is a cabling system that enables the home owner to distribute their radio, CD player, stereo or MP3 player to multiple rooms of their home. Each room can be independently operated for On / Off and volume control Up / Down for that room.

You can even operate your stereo with the stereo remote control from any room with the volume control wall plate.

Having a stereo in each room can be expensive. There are often space issues and safety precautions that need to be addressed around wet areas like bathrooms, pools and spas.

Distributed Audio is a simple, fl exible cabling solution that does not require expensive specialist tools to install. It is easy and cost effective to install into every new home.

This is something every electrical contractor needs in their cabling portfolio.

Some typical scenarios:

Outdoor EntertainingOutdoor entertaining is one of Australia’s favourite pastimes. So whether you are having a BBQ, a party or just hanging out, the next time you entertain friends or family, enhance the gathering with your favourite tunes.

Dining RoomFine food and wine just isn’t the same without fi ne music. The next time you have a dinner party improve the atmosphere and ambience with one of your favourite relaxing CDs.

BathroomIt’s been a hard day and all you want to do is unwind in a hot bath with good glass of wine. Make your relaxation time a therapeutic experience with some soothing music and just drift away.

KitchenYou probably spend more time in your kitchen than you think, getting ready at the start of a busy day, and preparing dinner in the evening. Take the burden out of preparing meals by listening to the radio or an enjoyable CD.
