Specific patient PWeR ID numbers can be searched in the “Audit Trail” search box.

Enter the Patient’s PWeR ID Number into the “PWeR ID” field.

Select the “Date Range” by using the calendar tool in the “Start Date” and “End Date” fields.

Audit Trails

Section C: Audit Trails

The “Audit Trails” function is to systematically track the access of all patient files by users within the PWeR system. This module is used as an auditing tool, allowing users to monitor any

irregularities and to take note of specific activities as needed. Examples are: an Overview of New Employee Use for Training Purposes, Verification of a

Coding Clerk’s Patient File Access, or possible After-Hours System Access Abuse.
