through Thursday at 6 PM to follow the series.

Pastor Byrd’s office hours are generally Tuesdays from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
and has now added some Wednesdays from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM as well.

It’s CHOIR TIME!! ♫
For all those who love to sing, whether returning choir members or those
thinking about joining, you are invited to the Laudation Singers' Meet & Greet
after church today at the BLC from 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM. Come join us for an
afternoon of fellowship, testimonies, and fun. Come hear what's in store for
Season II. Please note: this event is for current and
prospective choir participants and their families only.
Sabbath School Council Meeting
There will be a Sabbath School Council meeting on Monday August 20th
at
6:30 PM in the Multipurpose Room. We’re asking for all (Adult and
Children’s) Sabbath School leaders and teachers to please plan to attend.

Directory, you can pick up your directory at the Personal Ministries Window
after the church service. For people who weren’t able to have their pictures
taken, you can pick up a non-pictorial directory. You can also stop by the
church office Monday – Thursday 9 AM – 3 PM.
Grants Pass SDA School Registration for 2018-2019 Registration for the Grants Pass Adventist School is this Monday, August 13,
from 4:00-6:00 PM. Please call 541-479-2293 for more information.

As Christians and as a church, we are blessed to be able to help students
attending our Adventist schools. However, school is about to start and some
families are still needing financial help. If you can help sponsor or even
partially sponsor any of the following students, please contact the school

The Desk in the Foyer
What is an empty desk doing in our church foyer? It’s waiting for you!
We’re asking for people to stop by the desk and pray for the student who will
fill this desk at our school. God hears and answers prayers.
Prayer Chain Email Group
We are thrilled to have so many people requesting to be put on the Church’s
Prayer Chain email group. We know God answers prayer and the more
people praying, the more God works! To streamline the requests, we’re
asking that prayer requests go through the church’s
email: [email protected] so we can consolidate the
requests. Please use Donna Griffith’s personal email for EMERGENCY
prayer requests only (ie: someone is enroute to the hospital, an accident just
happened, etc). Thank you!
GLOW
A variety of small sharing tracts are available on a wall rack in the foyer. You
are always invited to take what you can share with a family member, friend or
even the stranger that God may bring into your path. If you have any
experience you'd like to share about sharing a GLOW tract, please contact the
Church Office. We'd love to hear your story!
Church Flowers
A floral arrangement is a beautiful way to honor or remember someone you
love or admire and is a blessing for our congregation and the extended TV
viewing audience as well. Please reserve a Sabbath of your choice on the
calendar located in the church office hallway.
Church Calendar Scheduling
To avoid scheduling conflicts, please contact the church office when planning
an event or when you need to use a room in the church, the sanctuary, or the
Better Living Center. All activities, and especially those other-than-the-
normally-scheduled usages, must be put on the church calendar. Thank you!
Grants Pass Spanish Ministry
Our church is blessed to have a ministry which reaches out to our Hispanic
members and community. Spanish Sabbath School (9:30 AM) and Spanish
Worship Service (11:00 AM) and a bi-lingual Vespers (6:00 PM) takes place
each Sabbath. For more information please call Ruben Garcia at 541-660-
2391.
Media Ministry
The Grants Pass SDA Church is a media church, so please be aware that our
church service is recorded for viewing via television, internet, and is streamed
live. Please note that anyone participating in the 11 AM worship time,
including (but not limited to) announcements and children’s story, will be
recorded. As a worshiper, if you don’t wish to be seen on camera, please sit
in the far right section behind the first five rows. Thank you.
Dorcas
Many in the community of Grants Pass are blessed with food and clothing that
is distributed from our center. Especially now, during summer, we’re short
staffed and volunteers are greatly needed. Please call Larry Sample at 541-

“Up From the Ordinary” Oregon Conference’s Women’s Retreat
Join us at the beautiful Eagle Crest Resort for the Oregon Conference’s 32nd
Annual Women’s Retreat with Jean Boonstra, Associate Speaker from the
Voice of Prophecy October 12 -14. Teens coming with a mom or mentor can
