BULLETIN
RAY’S REMARKS:
Hello brethren! What a great week we have had with our VBS. We have had a good turnout of kids this year and adults. It seems like everyone is enjoying out time of spiritual food and fellowship. We are thankful for all those who are involved and making this year’s VBS a success. We also are thankful for our teachers. We have so many who volunteer to teach our children and they do a great job. I also want to thank Julie Medley, Cindy Sullins and others who helped to decorate a little in the auditorium. It has really made the kids enjoy the VBS more and it has really help emphasize our important theme: God’s Team. Remember that tonight we have one more opportunity to grow as Christians, so I hope you will all be present and ready to learn more about God’s Word.
Dad and mom will be returning next week. I know they are ready to be home and really worn out. They have done a great job this summer encouraging the brethren in Zambia, Uganda and Ghana. They have also been able to challenge our students in our preacher training schools to do the good work of God. Let’s keep them in prayer as they conclude the final week of their trip and will soon be traveling home. It will be good to have them back safely.
Brethren, as always, we have many of our number who are dealing with a variety of health issues and problems. We also have those who have lost loved ones recently. Please remember all our brothers and sisters with special needs in our prayers. It is a great blessing to petition God on behalf of one another in prayer. We are certainly blessed by God to have this wondrous blessing.
I look forward to seeing you all tonight for our final night of VBS. I also look forward to seeing you this coming Lord’s day when we gather to Worship our Creator. Make sure and prepare properly to be present and to give God your very best. May God bless us all as we do His Will and as we live according to His Perfect Precepts?

ELDER’S CORNER:
Greetings. Hope everyone is having a good week.
VBS is off and running the bases! We have had a
good VBS Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. We will be
closing tonight. Hope you have been able to attend
all sessions.
Our good sister, Dorma Lea Duncan passed this last
Saturday. Her service was held Tuesday afternoon.
The service was very fitting for such a great
Christian lady. Keep all the Duncan family in your
prayers.
Brother Tim Burks will be attending the B.I.M.
beginning in about two weeks. Brother Tim came
forward Sunday morning requesting prayers for the
congregation that his study will go well.
Men, try to attend the Men’s Breakfast Saturday,
August 12th. You will go away feeling better and full.
Thanks to brother Bill and brother Wesley for
getting up early to prepare the meal for us. See you
Saturday morning at 8 o’clock.
Thanks to all who organized the VBS and all those
that taught classes.
Agape groups 1 & 4 will meet Sunday after the
morning service. You should be getting a call from
your leader on what you need to bring for the dinner.
Love to all,
Gary & Jerry
“And whatever you do, do it heartily,
as to the Lord and not to men”

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
