AUGUST BIRTHDAYS Li Li Chase Eifert Charles Bronson Megan King Rowan Schaefer Owen Quinn RECIPE OF THE MONTH FROM KELLY STULL Crock-Pot Chicken Alfredo Tortellini 1.5 lbs. frozen boneless, skinless breasts 3 1/2 C jarred Alfredo sauce, divided 1 tsp. minced garlic 1/2 tsp. black pepper 4 C refrigerated 3 cheese tortellini Garnish: black pepper and parsley Place the breasts in Crock-Pot. Add 2 1/2 C of Alfredo sauce. Cover and cook on high for 6-8 hours until fully cooked. Tear or cut the chicken into pieces. Add 1 C Alfredo sauce, minced garlic, black pepper and 3 cheese tortellini. Cover and cook on high for about 20 minutes until heated through. Garnish with black pepper and parsley. Rent Reminder Rent is due on the 1st day of the month and considered late on the 6th of the month. All late rent must include a late charge equal to 10% of your monthly rental payment. Thank you for paying your rent on time. WATERMELON SALSA Seedless watermelon cubes: a tasty place to start when making a batch of salsa. Combine with sweet fruits like diced mango and diced pineapple; add crunch with minced red onion and diced cucumber. Squeeze lime juice, sprinkle with chopped cilantro; season with salt and pepper. RESIDENT SPOTLIGHT Heidi Anderson moved to CV in 2016. Her major is in Exercise Physiology, working toward her Master’s. She is an intern at KentuckyOne Health Rehab and is also an employee of Under Armour. Her hobby is running. Heidi has run in numerous marathons, including the Derby Marathon. Crock-Pot Chicken Alfredo Tortellini1.5 lbs. frozen boneless, skinless

breasts3 1/2 C jarred Alfredo sauce, divided1 tsp. minced garlic1/2 tsp. black pepper4 C refrigerated 3 cheese tortelliniGarnish: black pepper and parsleyPlace the breasts in Crock-Pot. Add

2 1/2 C of Alfredo sauce. Cover and cookon high for 6-8 hours until fully cooked.Tear or cut the chicken into pieces. Add1 C Alfredo sauce, minced garlic, blackpepper and 3 cheese tortellini. Cover andcook on high for about 20 minutes untilheated through. Garnish with black pepperand parsley.
