Prior to being named executive director, Jackson was the associate executive director of the OSSAA and has spent 23 years with the organization that oversees high school activities in Oklahoma. His areas of responsibility have included football, large school basketball, track and field and eligibility. Jackson received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from East Central University in Ada and from 1985- 1900 was a math teacher and a coach in various sports at Pauls Valley High School. He became the schools principal from 1990-1996 before joining the OSSAA. Jackson has also served on various committees with the National Federation of High School Activities and is a member of the board of directors. He served as board president in the 2018-2019 school year. Also, he is on the board of directors of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Britton Christian Church among other activities. Van Shea Iven OSSAA Sports Information Director Van Shea Iven is a Northwest Oklahoma native, graduating from Pond Creek-Hunter High School in 1996. He started his career in television while still at OSU, and worked for KFOR-TV from 1987-2005. Iven is perhaps better known for the Okla- homa High School Sports Express, a televi- sion program he hosted, reported, filmed and produced from 2005-2014. He also hosted the High School Spotlight on WWLS The Sports Animal for over 10 years. Iven joined the OSSAA as Sports Information Director in 2014 and handles media relations for the association. David Glover OSSAA Assistant Director Woodward native David Glover joined the OSSAA as an assistant director in 2013, after a lengthy career as a coach and administrator. His duties at the OSSAA include eligibility, basketball from Class B through 4A, cross country, golf and tennis. He and wife Cyndy have two daughters, Kylee and husband David Martin of Jenks and Kinzie and husband Michael Didier of Woodward. Kinzie Didier is the Woodward High School girls basketball coach.
