Greetings, This is Bob Payne Jr. I am writing with purpose!

My father died back in October. He had an extensive collection of tractors and implements. Also a vast col-lection of die cast toys. Many were one of a kind. My Dad spent a good deal of time and lots of back breaking work to earn every tractor he owned, big or small. Shortly after his death, there was an auction to sell off his toy collection. I was not notified of the auction. I found out about it from the secretary at church on the Wednesday before the auction was to happen. The auction was scheduled for Sunday morning, 10 a.m. I was at church. Now, several months later, an ad appears on MWT.net. Apparently my Dad’s tractors are now for sale. Once again I was not notified. In this list of tractors for sale are my Dads most prized, 1954 Super MTAD. The one that he won, the 1980 Richland County Fair 7,500 lbs., class pull. I’m sure you’ve heard that story. His Super W6TA, first tractor he restored. F 30 Narrow tread - Tiger, a tractor passed to him when his Daddy died. F 20 - Little Jo, another of his Daddy’s tractors. You probably have seen both of these baling straw with the New Holland 77 baler at the Wheels of Time Show.YOU MAY NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN! 560 Turbo, the most sought after tractor in my Dad’s mind.F 20 with mounted 2 row 22 b picker, the one he and his Daddy used. The Huber, Twin City and F 30 Cane tractors were sold to his “adopted” brother, Billy Davis. So what is my point? The tractors mentioned are in jeopardy of being sold off one by one. These tractors are my fathers legacy! His wishes, while he was alive, and I quote, “These tractors are “NEVER TO BE SOLD, they are to stay in the family!” They were to be passed down to my brother, Andy and I. I am asking for your help and your support to SAVE MY DADDY’S AND HIS DADDY’S TRACTORS! Please write a short statement. Did you know Bob Payne? • How long did you know him? What was Bob known for? Are you aware of his tractors? • In your opinion, how did he feel about his tractors? • Were his tractors for sale? • What do you think he would have wanted to happen with his tractors? • Tell a story about Bob and a tractor?

A Message from the President...A Walk With GRACE theme helps us keep focused on the mission of Greater Richland Area Cancer Elimination, Inc. For 2015 it was OUR FIELD OF DREAMS .... STRIKING OUT CAN-CER. To those affected by cancer they certainly can relate to this theme. As we approach the end of the 2014-2015 fundraising year (August 31) the results will be very good. As of Monday, August 17th, the total was at $263,709.46. There are so many adjectives to describe this - AWESOME, TERIFFIC, GENEROUS, UNBELIEVABLE, FANTASTIC, TREMENDOUS, REMARKABLE, WONDERFUL, CHARITABLE, LOVING, CARING AND MORE. Since last year’s walk many, many people have joined in with compassion, love, and caring devotion to Greater Richland Area Cancer Elimination, Inc. to make the current fundraising total possible. Individuals that made items to sell, bought things to donate for auctions, raffl es, rummage sales, foods of all kinds that were sold, donations of all kinds from many individuals, businesses, corporations, organizations, and churches. Through your generosity you are making an impact on people’s lives who are stricken with can-cer. The battle with cancer is not over. The funds are used wisely for cancer research at Gundersen in La Crosse, UW Carbone Cancer Center in Madison, for fi nancial patient as-sistance in our service area, for funding to the Richland Hospital Foundation which allows for improved diagnosis, treatment and care of cancer patients and 2% toward prevention education with a very low 3% is used for operating costs. For the Walk, none of this would be possible without the great number of people com-mitted to serving on the Walk With GRACE Committee led by Chair Sue Klingaman and throughout the year by a Board of Directors of 8 people. To all of you, thank you for your endorsement and confi dence bestowed upon G.R.A.C.E.

THANK YOU TO ALL.

Keith E. Behling, President, Greater Richland Area

Cancer Elimination, Inc. Keith

We deeply apologize if any names got missed, but hope that you all know how deeply appreciative we are to live in a community of such caring citizens. Your money is at work helping others with needs! Let’s continue to raise money that helps our friends and neighbors and help to find a way

to find cures for cancer. We couldn’t have done it without you, thanks!

THANKS TO EACH & EVERY TEAM & CAPTAIN FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!
