Thank you for your
continued generosity!
Please welcome, THIS weekend,
Aug. 25 & 26, Sr. Margaret Magee, OSF
of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, NY
for the annual mission appeal. The Franciscan Sisters
of Allegany were the first community of American
Sisters to have foreign missions. They minister to
those in need, especially the underprivileged, the
undernourished, the outcast, and the victims of
injustice and violence. Funds to support the missions
where our Sisters work and volunteer are solicited
through efforts of the St. Elizabeth Mission Society.
As a congregation, we continue to respond to the
overwhelming needs of our brothers and sisters
through education, health care, and social ministries in
Jamaica, Brazil, Bolivia, and the States.
The Rectory Office will reopen

On this past June 24, the memorial stone, “In Memory of the
Unborn Child.” was rededicated at St. Christopher’s School on
30 Benner Rd. The stone had originally been at St. Sylvia’s
where the Knights of Columbus had installed it. The Knights
moved it, had a base and plaque made, and installed it at the
present location. Thank you to the Knights of Columbus and all
who attended or played a part in this beautiful project.
