CANDLE LIGHTING NOTE – When one household member is attending an early Minyan and another is lighting at home, it is preferable to light before the Shul attendee returns home (about 7:25pm this week). Regular candle lighting time on August 2nd is 7:49pm. The earliest time to light candles with a bracha is 6:44pm this week. One leaving for Shul with no one else at home to light candles, may light before 6:44pm, but should not recite the bracha.
