I will tell you more about them in the September and October newsletters. If anyone is planning on nominating anyone from the floor, there is certain criteria to be met for their eligibility. If you have any questions about this please get in touch with one of us on the Nominating Committee. When they are nominated from the floor at the November meeting, someone on the Election Committee will check to make sure that this criteria has been met. Also, to be able to vote for your favorite candidates, you must be a member in good standing. If you haven’t paid your dues, you cannot vote. But it’s not too late to pay your dues, $6.00 per person. You can pay your dues to Gene Brooks, Treasurer. If he is not available, you can pay them to Eric Parker, a member of the Board, who will see to it that your dues get to Gene Brooks and are recorded. Remember, this is a very important election. It’s really important that everyone vote. . Nominating Committee (Cont.) If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call Roberta Klein @ 727- 597-0877, Patty Pickles, 727-815-8730, or Frank 0877, Patty Pickles @ 727-815- 8730, or Frank Messina @ 727-848- 9071. Thank you. From The Social Committee: To quell the rumor that the July 26th dance with The Retros has been cancelled, IT IS A RUMOR. Get your tickets from Connie and enjoy the evening out. Bring your own beverage and snacks, and come to sit, relax, dance and socialize. From Management To avoid a fire, please do not place anything on top of the modem in the library as it gets very hot. We are currently sending 28 boxes overseas. We have filed for our nonprofit status and now have to wait for the I.R.S. to respond. Fund raising is ongoing to mail the boxes thanks to all that help with this project. Any donations may be given to Sis Pickles or Pat Blake.

Help Reduce Printing Costs Email me @ walda@ tampabay.rr.com to be added to those who get the Grapevine via their email. Printing costs are going up - and the only way we can reduce the cost of printing the Grapevine is by having more people get it online instead of a printed copy. You can help by electing to get the Grapevine via your email. Give it a try - what have you got to lose? For previous issues of the Grapevine, email me at [email protected] and I will send you one. I have a copy of all the Grapevines that I have done saved on my computer.
