PHILOSOPHYSouvlaki GR started as a food truck in August 2010. From the onset it was such a favorite amongst New Yorkers & tourists that we opened our first brick and mortar location at 116 Stanton Street in the Lower East side in 2011. The reviews were a success and a couple of years later we opened our second location at 162 West 56th street in the heart of midtown Manhattan, and are proud to say that we’ve also expanded East to our newest location at 231 East 53rd street.

We aim to take our guests on a journey to Greece from the moment they enter our blue doors. From the periptero, the lighting, the music, the blue and white walls and doors, and most importantly the fresh, healthy and authentic Greek dishes. We offer a variety of options so that every guest can enjoy our traditional dishes more than once a week. Our concept and menu have evolved since the onset of our brand. We have expanded the choices and flavors of our culture’s cuisine.
