Solution AuthenWare® for Juniper is tightly integrated with SA Series Appliances to ensure simple and secure remote application access, while providing strong security and authentication. AuthenWare is a complementary multi-factor authentication system that uniquely identifies the rightful owner of username/password credentials being entered by combining keystroke dynamics with other heuristics to make user authentication and validation easy, cost-effective and reliable. e AuthenWare solution is very accurate and completely transparent to the end user – they just type in their credentials as they normally do. How It Works Juniper Networks® SA Series SSL VPN Appliances allow any web-enabled device such as a corporate laptop, PDA or smartphone to provide remote access to organizational resources without the need for any client soſtware on the user device. Similarly, AuthenWare incorporates a breakthrough, multi-dimensional approach to validating user identity without requiring any soſtware or hardware on the client device. It uses a series of biometric security algorithms that record and measure a person’s unique typing patterns, as well as other behavioral and environmental heuristics, to create a personal security pattern – the AuthenWare Singularity Pattern™— that is as unique as the person’s DNA. Based on a series of statistical singularities (aspects that distinguish one person from others), the security pattern can even adapt to nuances in typing behavior such as those caused by physical injury, medication, stress or fatigue. Aſter first-factor authentication, AuthenWare for Juniper will seamlessly authenticate and monitor remote users as they attempt to access file servers, Web servers, native messaging and e-mail clients, hosted servers, and other applications through a SA Series SSL VPN Appliance. It does so biometrically using the AuthenWare Singularity Pattern. Upon successful authentication, the user is seamlessly passed to Juniper and allowed to proceed.
