Laurent LSBI December 2015 AutoCAD to DXF to GDSII/CIF tutorial If you plan to use AutoCAD to perform drawings, shapes or patterns, you can convert your file in GDSII or CIF by using the following tutorial: 1) Draw your design or shape with AutoCAD, and center it with respect to the origin. 2) When you select your different shapes, the “Properties Inspector” menu on the right tells you how many lines or different entities are included in your selection (circles, polygons, etc.).
