CS-Map

CS-Map enables users to more easily support geographic coordinate conversions and allow accurate and precise geospatial analysis.

It currently supports a library of 4,000+ map projections and coordinate systems.

• Tighter correlation of CS-MAP with EPSG.   CS-MAP dictionaries and name/ID mapping facilities have been updated to release 6.18 [beware: EPSG released 7.01 just as we finished updating to 6.18].

• CS-MAP now sports a comprehensive Name Mapping facility which can map names and numeric ID’s from any supported data source to any other.

• The EPSG access API has been completed.  Based on a .CSV (Comma Separated Value text file) image of the EPSG database, this API provides developers with a simplified framework for accessing the EPSG database in a platform independent manner.

• WKT processing of Oracle 10g has been implemented.

• The Popular Visualization Projection has been implemented.
