Detailed Download and Installation InstructionsTo ensure a smooth download and installation of your ebook and exercise files, please follow thesesteps.

Each Autodesk ebook contains two main components: The ebook A set of additional resources, which includes the data files to support the exercises in the ebook.

1. Once you complete your purchase of an ebook from the Autodesk estore, you will see the orderconfirmation page where you can begin the download process. You will also receive an emailconfirmation of your order. Click the Begin Download button.

2. You can begin to run the file immediately, or save it to your computer and start the download fromthe saved file.

3. Next, choose the download location on your computer. The default will be a desktop downloadfolder. Click “Next”.

4. The download process will begin. If the download stalls at any point, click “Pause” and then“Resume”.

5. When your download is complete, click “Open Desktop Downloads”

6. Double click on set up launcher

7. The Install Wizard will launch – click “Next”.

8. Choose which shortcuts you would like to install and click “Next”.

9. Click “Install” and then “Finish” to complete the installation.

10. Next, in the Desktop download folder, double click on the Additional Resources zip file.

Then click extract all files

11. Click “Next” to begin the extraction process.

Select a destination folder for the data files and click “Next”.

12. After the extraction process is complete, click on the “start here” icon.

This will launch a very useful web page with links to training resources and learning samples by industry.This is also where you will install the data sets you’ll need to complete the exercises in the ebook.

Double-click on setup.exe

Choose to run the file now or save it to your computer and run later.

13. Before continuing, you will need to read and accept the Autodesk Official Training Guide Licenseagreement.

Next, click “Install” to complete the process.

14. The installation is now complete. Depending on which short cut options you chose and where youdownloaded your files, you can open your ebook and access the data sets to complete the exercisesin each chapter.
