VOLUME REDUCINGOur patented Volume Reducer Vario 558 optimizes the size of your parcels depending on the goods packed inside and thereby minimizes the costs for packaging material, shipping, personnel effort while ensuring a maximum degree of efficiency and transport safety.

The modular designed machine processes box formats at varying sequences in 4 fully automatic steps: measuring the height of the box content, cutting in the corners of the box to its minimally re-quired size, folding the flaps and finally sealing the box with gummed or self-adhesive tape. By means of communication, the particular modules adjust to the according case formats automatically.

PALLETIZINGForming the end of the complete packaging unit, the OPITZ Palletizer Systems place boxes and cases safely and quickly on a pallet. The system pallets different box sizes flexibly according to specified packaging schemes designed to make the optimal use of the space on the pallet – with or without gaps. Additionally, OPITZ provides pallet maga-zines, intermediate layer dispensers and turnstiles.

MILLING AND DEVICE

CONSTRUCTIONThanks to the in-house milling and device construction service, OPITZ has considerable manufacturing depth. This enables us to respond to our clients’ needs and re-quirements with a high level of flexibility and to imple-ment systems within jointly determined time slots.

SERVICE AND MAINTENANCEOur service team will gladly advise you and find the best technical solution for your packaging requirements. We test the systems in our production process, install them at your site and provide instructions during the initial operation.

We will stay with you as a partner supporting you in your daily machine use and maintaining the machines at regular times as agreed upon.
