Youth Dance Company For ages 12 - 18 The company works on creative tasks andcontemporary dance technique. This group alsoperforms at a variety of events throughout the year.TERM DATES: Wednesdays from 26 Aug to 16 DecTIME: 6.30 - 8pmPRICE: £100 for 15 sessions or £165 for 2 in the same family

Adult Contemporary DanceFor ages 14+Technical exercises and sequences are taught to build strength, co-ordination and flexibility. Ideal for peoplewith previous dance experience. Attending our classesAll our classes are held at Dundee Rep Theatre, Tay Square, Dundee, DD1 1PB.

Please arrive at Dundee Rep Theatre 10-15 minutes before your class is due to start. You will be met by one of our fully trained support workers in the foyer. The support worker attached to your session will take the register, take payments if you pay weekly, escort groups to and from our dance studio and help you with any questions you may have. Please wear comfortable clothes that will allow you to move freely. Shoes aren’t allowed to be worn in the dance studio so you can either wear soft dance shoes or dance in bare feet. There are both male and female changing rooms next to the dance studio should you need them.

ConcessionsWhere applicable, concessionary prices are listed in brackets and are available to students and those in receipt of benefits. If you would like to pay for a block of classes in 4 monthly installments, please email [email protected]

LatecomersLatecomers may not be admitted as everyone needs to warm up together.

Dance BuddyLet us know if you would like a volunteer dancebuddy to come along to a class with you. Please email [email protected]

Hardship fundIf you would like to attend any of our classes but cannot afford to, apply to our Hardship Fund. Write a short paragraph about why you want to attend and how you think the classes would benefit you. Protection of children& vulnerable peopleScottish Dance Theatre runs a strict child protection policy. All teachers and support workers have the appropriate checks.

PhotographyWe sometimes take photos of our classes and workshops for marketing purposes. Permission will be sought by Scottish Dance Theatre beforehand.

SpectatorsWe do not usually allow spectators as it can distract participants.

Access & InclusionAt Scottish Dance Theatre we believe dance is for everyone and want to bring as many people, from all walks of life, into contact with dance. Dundee Rep is fully accessible to wheelchair users, and our dance studio is open to everyone.
