There‘s something for everyone in our Autumn edition of the Cultural Guide – our beautiful City of Wagga Wagga offers many opportunities for you to explore your interests, no matter what they may be!

The Museum of the Riverina, Art Gallery and Library have many workshops, tours and lectures on subjects as wide-ranging as from rock stars, composting, writing, and exploring the history of our very own Fitzmaurice and Baylis streets.

Seniors and Youth will be celebrating their respective weeks in March and April with a huge array of activities around the city to take advantage of.

And as the weather begins to cool, nothing is more inviting than sitting down with a book or a movie, and the library gives you the opportunity to meet with like minds through their established book and film clubs.

Join us for the Twilight by the Lagoon Concert Series finale, taking place in the beautiful surrounds of the Wollundry Lagoon Amphitheatre on Friday 7 March with special guest Rhonda Burchmore performing with our favourites, the Australian Army Band Kapooka.

Voted Australia’s most family friendly city in the recent national Suncorp survey, and with such a rich and diverse cultural program, why would you want to be anywhere else but Wagga Wagga!

Kind regards

Cr Rod Kendall Mayor of Wagga Wagga

make the most of our city!

LIENG LAY: MINDAn exploration of the mind, covering notions of thought, emotion, ego, identity, and body image. The idea of the plastic brain draws on contemporary neuroscience research into neuroplasticity, resilience, chronic pain and psychology. These figurative works aim to explore how our emotions affect our physical wellbeing and conversely, how our body and health affect our emotional wellbeing.
