Wadding and backing 64” x 64”
Use ¼" seam allowance throughout. Press all seams open unless otherwise noted
QUILT 1
CUTTING
1. From fabric 1 cut:64 x 3½" x 3½“
2. From fabric 2 cut:32 x 2" x 3½"32 x 2" x 5"
3. From fabric 3 cut:32 x 2" x 3½"32 x 2" x 5"
2 x 2¾" x 60½" (join)2 x 2¾" x 56" (join)4. From fabric 4 cut:
32 x 2" x 5"32 x 2" x 6½"
5. From fabric 5 cut:32 x 2" x 5"
32 x 2" x 6½"6. From fabric 6 cut:
6 x 2½" x 42" for binding25 x 2" x 2"
7. From fabric 7 cut:40 x 2" x 12½"
MAKING UP THE BLOCK

Sew block 1 together, square and then the strip to the right. Next strip at the bottom of the block
Again, to the right side and then the bottom
Sew block 2, square and the strip to the left side next strip to the top, again side and then the top
Sew block 3, square and strip to the left side. Now to the bottom of square. Sew the last two strips as before
Sew block 4, square and strip to the left side. Now to the top of square. Stitch the last two strips as before
Join the four squares together to make the block. Make 16 in total
Lay out your fabric pieces for your block

ASSEMBLY
Lay out blocks with sashing in between and on the ends of the blocks on row 2, 4, 6 and 8
On rows 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 will be sashing and the squares
Stitch in rows and then stitch the rows together
Add the borders sides and then top and bottom the quilt
COMPLETION
Sandwich quilt top, wadding and backing. Pin or baste layers
Quilt as desired
Double bind edges with 2½" fabric 6 strips
