  • Auxiliary Lighting Pasco Fire Department In accordance with WAC 296-305-06008 (Electrical) all auxiliary electrical equipment used by the Pasco Fire Department has been replaced. WAC 296- 305-06008 requires: Heavy Duty flexible cords with SO or SJ jackets or equivalent. The path to ground from power cords, equipment, and temporary lights shall be continuous Electrical equipment, tools, and temporary lights shall be constructed so that water cannot enter or accumulate in wireways, or other electrical parts. Electrical equipment, that are used in wet or damp atmospheres shall have 120 VAC single-phase 15 or 20 amp in-line resettable ground fault circuit interrupters. Temporary lights shall be equipped with a handle and be protected by guards of a nonconductive or insulated material to prevent accidental contact with the bulb. Bodies and caps shall be weather tight, 20 amp rated at 120 VAC
